2013-14 schedule released: lots of big games, many games on TV!

GW released its 2013-14 men's basketball schedule the other day, and it's a juicy one. The good guys have a lot of games against good competition, including against Maryland at the BB&T Classic, against Miami (FL) and possibly Marquette at the Wooden Legacy tournament in California and home games against Rutgers and Georgia. There's another Wooden game as well, which may be against College of Charleston, San Diego State, Creighton or Arizona State. (The Wooden Legacy tournament is an actual tournament, you can see the bracket here.)

I haven't seen that many big teams in years either home or away -- pretty awesome. Plus it's great to play Maryland at the BB&T Classic again, I hope we turn out in force. This may be their last year in the event, because they hate charity.

The A-10 schedule is out too, and with that there's a total of 8 of our A-10 games on TV (on NBC Sports Network, formerly known as Versus, and CBS Sports Network) plus the Wooden Legacy will all be on one of the ESPN networks (ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU or ESPN3.)

That's 11 games (at least) on TV. Hot damn!

GW has a full press release here, plus one about the A-10 schedule, and a cool video on the A-10 home schedule. Here's the full schedule.

I'm pretty pumped. It's going to be a tough season but should be a lot of fun.
