David Stern, Pollin, Leonsis visit GW

The Post's DC Sports Bog has the story on the induction ceremony for the GW School of Business Sports Executives Hall of Fame at the Smith Center the other day. Yeah, I've never heard of it either.

Wizards and Verizon Center owner Abe Pollin was inducted, with NBA commish David Stern and Caps owner Ted Leonsis also in attendance. I didn't know Pollin was a GW alum (class of 1945) -- I would be happy to see a Smith-Pollin Center on campus. Just saying.

Pollin should give to the Smitty upgrade. Did Red Auerbach leave a gift in his Will to GW Athletics?

That's what I'm saying!

I dunno about Auerbach, good question.

Check out great shirts, crewnecks, hats and more!
