Another GWer in the pros

GW has another pro in the NBA - specifically the Wizards Dance Team.

After a lot of extremely difficult research (namely looking at photos of dancing girls in bikinis) I discovered that Meg, aka the redhead from GW's First Ladies dance team, made the Wizards Dance Team. She's in the middle in this link, and in the back row of this photo to the right.

Congrats to Megan, it's always good to see some more Colonials in the pros. Sometimes it's a really tough job to be a blogger.

Congrats Meg!

I used to actually watch the Dance Team and point her out to my friend (as opposed to going to the bathroom). Typically "Yowza" and "Damn if she can't dance" were the thoughts in my head (and on a rare occassion, would come out of my mouth).

Then I realized that this made me a very dirty old man. And that made me a bit sad...sorta.

frank... you aren't alone (though I'm probably a bit younger than you - class of 2004 - Meg was definitely my favorite eye candy on the "First Ladies") Congrats to her!

I sat in front of her at the 2005 BB&T, and she was more interested in how terrible the Maryland dance team was than the GW bball team's domination of UMD. Since she was hot, I tried to engage her in conversation, but it was a useless endeavor. So hot, yet so disinterested...

email demon -- what do you expect? She was the member of a college dance team, not a PhD candidate! I think I would have been more surprised if she HAD been able to engage in an intelligent conversation.

For a woman interested in dance, a man who wanted to talk about basketball could have been considered disinterested. It's all just a question of one's perspective.

Gentlemen, fyi, meg actually had a 3.83 gpa, double major, phi beta kappa, summa cum laude, and now works at a sports agency and loves talking about bball. She has a calendar coming out soon... support her and pick one up from the wizards.
