Thanks to the GWHoops folks for this one, a pretty great memory as GW beat a ranked Maryland team in the BB&T Classic on Dec. 8, 2013. I was there! I like the fan view too later in the video. Dan Steinberg wrote about it as well.
In the 2013-2014 season, GW went 24-9 (11-5 in the A10) and also beat a ranked Creighton team as Isaiah Armwood shut down national player of the year Doug McDermott. The Colonials made the NCAA tournament that year as a 9-seed, losing to Memphis in Raleigh. That was a fun trip.
Maurice Creek has had an extensive overseas career since too.
