The trio is point guard Shandon Brown, power forward Marcus Littles, and wing forward Mezie Offurum. Here's more from GW:
GW Men’s Basketball Signs Three to Letters of IntentColonials land a point guard, power forward and wing
WASHINGTON – GW men’s basketball head coach Maurice Joseph announced on Thursday the signing of Shandon Brown, Marcus Littles and Mezie Offurum to National Letters of Intent to join the Colonials for the 2018-19 season.

The trio provides GW with a point guard in Brown (Boston, Mass.), a power forward in Littles (Philadelphia, Pa.) and a wing in Offurum (Germantown, Md.). They’ll join a team which was already set to have 11 players with at least two years of eligibility remaining, giving the Colonials a strong core for the future.

“This class will join a group of experienced players and will have an opportunity to grow with them,” said Joseph. “The fact that they will spend at least two years with the nucleus of guys we have now makes me feel great about the future of our program. We feel that we have added the pieces moving forward that will provide us with the depth, talent and experience that will be necessary to compete at the highest level.”

Shandon Brown5-10 | Guard
Boston, Mass. | New Hampton School

A Boston native, Brown plays his high school ball for New Hampton School in New Hampshire, a member of the New England Preparatory School Athletic Council (NEPSAC). He was named the NEPSAC Class B Eastern Independent League player of the year in 2015. As a junior last season, he averaged more than 11 points and three assists per game as the Huskies went 22-9.

Brown has played AAU for the Boston Amateur Basketball Club since 2014, helping the team win the 19-and-under national championship this past July. He also holds a 3.6 GPA and intends to major in business at GW.

Joseph on Brown: “Shandon is a talented guard who has innate leadership qualities. He has the ability to both score the ball and run a team at a high level. His outgoing personality and infectious energy will be tremendous for the future of our program.”

Brown penned a letter on his decision to choose GW which can be seen here.

Marcus Littles6-9 | Forward
Philadelphia, Pa. | Neumann Goretti

The 6-foot-9, 260-pound Littles has helped lead Neumann Goretti to a Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) Class 3A Championship in each of his three seasons playing varsity. Last year, the Saints went 24-7.

Littles is rated as the No. 124 recruit nationally by 247sports, and the 31st-ranked power forward. In the state of Pennsylvania, he’s the third-ranked prospect. He’s played on the AAU circuit since seventh grade, first with Team Final and this past summer, with WER1.

Joseph on Littles: “We are thrilled to add a frontcourt player with the size, mobility and skill set that Marcus possesses. The combination of his ability to score around the rim while having a good shooting touch will make him a tough matchup for opposing forwards. We look forward to having Marcus be our anchor for years to come.”

Littles on choosing GW: “When I began researching the university and all that it offered, I found it met both my academic and athletic needs. When I arrived on campus for the official visit it just felt right. The staff was very welcoming. My family was very supportive and also believed that GW was the right fit. I trust the vision that Coach Joseph as well as the assistants have for me. I’m very excited to begin the next phase of my career at GW.”

Mezie Offurum6-6 | Forward
Germantown, Md. | Georgetown Prep

At 6-foot-6, Offurum provides GW with an athletic and versatile wing who helped Georgetown Prep to a 20-6 record and a share of the 2016-17 Interstate Athletic Conference (IAC) title. He averaged more than 10 points and four rebounds a game his junior season while earning All-IAC honors. On the AAU circuit, Offurum plays for the D.C. Blue Devils.

Joseph on Offurum: “Mezie has the size and versatility to become an impact player in the Atlantic 10. Recruiting locally is a high priority for our program and this addition is one that we are all excited about. Mezie's work ethic on and off the court will allow him to thrive in Foggy Bottom.”

Offurum on choosing GW: “I felt GW was a fit on all levels. The academics are really good and the A-10 is a conference where I can develop into the player I want to be. I believe campus life will be great because from what I've seen people are very nice and the student atmosphere seems very lively. I also enjoy hanging out in this part of the city and I also like that I will be joining the culture of our nation’s capital. But most of all, I chose GW because I wholeheartedly trust what Coach Joseph and his staff have going, and I want to be a part of it. With his youth, passion, and knowledge of the game, I know and believe that this recruiting class and this team can accomplish something special.”
