Here's some good news: GW signed former Illinois wing DJ Williams, who left that program in May. He was a former 4-star recruit but played sparingly for the Illini, appearing in 4 games. He's a 6'7" guard from Chicago, so it's nice to see Maurice Joseph getting some talent from there -- former star forward Mike Hall is from the Windy City as well, he played on the great mid-2000s teams and played a bit in the NBA, later starring in Europe.
