Pops is back in Dallas. For a tryout at least. The Mavericks appear to continue to have interest after dropping him just before last season. The team could use more athleticism as they were bounced from the playoffs this year as last year by a younger, more up-tempo team. As at GW, Pops quickly became a very popular, if infrequently used, player. Good to see he's getting another shot at making his NBA dream a more long-lasting one.
