Thanks to GWhoops.com poster rangwx for finding this one, Carl Elliott has been invited by the Wiz for a workout today. More news when I hear it.
This would be the third Colonial to be somehow involved with the home team - Mike Hall plays for them, Danilo Pinnock was invited to camp, and now Elliott's workout. Would be amazing to have all three on the team!
And my buddy cagwu notes that the university put out a release on this, noting that Carl will be working out with GW opponents Derrick Byars from Vandy, Jamon (which is "ham" in Spanish) Gordon from VT, and Nick Young of USC. The workout is going on now, starting at 1:30 pm at the Verizon Center.
